When we begin working together, I’ll invite you to share the reasons that brought you to therapy and the changes you’d like to see in your life. Sometimes I use simple questionnaires at the beginning and end of sessions to help us track progress and notice improvements over time.
Between appointments, I may recommend books, exercises, or skills to practice so you can continue building confidence and resilience outside of our sessions. My goal is to help you uncover hidden strengths, increase self-esteem, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Starting therapy can feel uncertain, so I’ve put together answers to common questions clients and families ask before their first session.
No, you don’t need to prepare or bring paperwork unless you’d like to. Some clients jot down thoughts, questions, or situations they want to explore, but it’s just as helpful to arrive open and see where our conversation takes us.
In our first session, I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy and what changes you’d like to see in your life. We’ll set goals at your pace, and I may suggest simple tools to start using right away.
Not at all. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. Therapy is a process, and we’ll move forward step by step.
